Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree, African Dance, minor in Music, University of Ghana.
- MFA, Theater, Ohio University
- MA, History, Southern Connecticut State University.
- PhD, African American Studies, Temple University, with a comprehensive dissertation on Kwame Nkrumah's Cultural Thought and Policies.
Areas of Specialization
Though a multidisciplinary educator, Dr. Botwe-Asamoah's real passion in teaching lies in Africana history and politics. He teaches Introduction to Africana Studies; African History Before 1800; 19th Century African American History; History of Pan-Africanism, African American Politics; and Twentieth Century Black Social Movement.
